Member Solidarity and Accessibility Working Group

Our Mission

In life, and especially in organizing, it is integral that we as organizers develop bonds with other people in order to both grow our movement, as well as people. In order to bring as many people as possible to the table, and make sure that they feel welcomed as members of the community, the Member solidarity and Accessibility Working Group has been established. We aim to provide social and material assistance to members, while striving to make everything we work for as accessible as possible.

What We Do

  • Host social events in order to bring people together and get them involved
  • Provide material assistance to members in the form of things like meals, childcare, and transportation, among other things.
  • Host fundraisers in order to meet the needs of those within the working group and the broader chapter more readily.
  • Research and develop methods of making all chapter methods and actions more accessible

Who We Work With

We work with, and are open to partnering with, any organizations in our area committed to our mission, as well as any member who needs assistance we can provide.
