Our Mission
The Internal Organizing Committee was created to initiate and sustain our members' active and healthy participation in HVDSA chapter work. We do this by building intentional relationships with our comrades and mobilizing member engagement in chapter, committee, and community work. We strive to grow confident and skilled organizers and leaders who are empowered to turn their resources into the power to make socialist change.
The goal of the Jackson County Work-Group is get current DSA members in the area involved in projects and goings-on that they are passionate about. This ranges from acting as a revolving door to other committees, participating in local events, etc. etc.
What We Do
- Reach out to current HVDSA members in Jackson and Livingston to get them involved
- Work with local figures and organizations to work towards policy change at the City Council level
Our Leadership Structure
The work-group is headed by HVDSA's current Political Education Director.
