May Day

This week we look forward to the arrival of May, not only for the promise of warmer weather, but because on May 1st we will be coming together to celebrate the labor movement, its history, and its future! We've got two major events planned to make your May Day memorable and meaningful!

MIDSA May Day Webinar

Metro Detroit DSA, Huron Valley DSA, Greater Lansing DSA, and Grand Rapids MI DSA have come together for a statewide webinar event on unions, workers' rights, and the importance of the PRO Act! The webinar will feature speakers, including U.S. Representative Andy Levin, and celebrate labor history and help chart a path for the future of the labor movement.

Workers Unite May Day Social in West Park

Here in Ann Arbor HVDSA and partner organizations like GEO and Sunrise are coming together for our May Day Workers Speak-Out! We will be meeting at 2 PM by the amphitheater of West Park in Ann Arbor. Enjoy some provided refreshments, listen to a couple of speakers, and safely mingle with your comrades. More details will be announced soon here!
